2. Eligibility and Authority
You must use Footfall only where you are legally permitted to do so.
If you use Footfall on behalf of a company, organization, brand, event organizer, or other entity, you confirm that you have authority to act on that entity's behalf and to bind it to these terms where applicable.

3. Accounts
Some Footfall features may require an account.
You must provide information that is accurate, current, and not misleading.

You must notify Footfall promptly if you believe that:
your account has been accessed without authorization;
your credentials have been compromised;

You must not:
create an account using a false identity;
impersonate another person or organization;
create misleading account information;
transfer or sell an account without permission;
allow another person to use your account in a manner that violates these terms; or
attempt to access another person's account without authorization.

This may include:
event descriptions;

other material.
You retain ownership of content that you own.
By submitting content to Footfall, you grant Purple Media LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, adapt, and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to:
operate Footfall;
provide the feature you requested;
display or promote the relevant event or brand;
deliver communications;
support event administration; and
maintain, secure, and improve the service.
You confirm that you have all rights, permissions, licenses, and consents necessary to submit the content and permit its use in this way.
You must not submit content that you do not have the right to use.

Footfall may remove, restrict, or disable access to content where we reasonably believe it violates these terms, applicable law, or the rights or safety of another person.
9. Event Organizers and Brands
Footfall may be used by independent brands, organizations, companies, and event organizers.
Unless Footfall is expressly identified as the organizer or responsible party, the relevant organizer is generally responsible for:
event descriptions;
dates and schedules;
venue information;
eligibility rules;
capacity;
pricing;
admission;
accessibility;
health and safety;
staffing;
speakers and performers;
competitions and promotions;
cancellations;
refunds;
attendee conduct decisions; and
compliance with laws relating to operation of the event.
Footfall does not independently verify every statement, listing, promotion, or representation made by an organizer or brand.
10. Event Registrations
A registration submitted through Footfall does not necessarily guarantee admission to an event.
Registrations may be subject to:
capacity;
organizer approval;
waiting lists;
eligibility criteria;
deadlines;
age requirements;
payment;
verification requirements;
venue rules; and
event-specific terms.
Where approval is required, registration is not confirmed until the relevant confirmation is issued.
Individual events may be governed by separate Event Terms.
11. Brand Pages and Following Brands
Footfall may allow you to view or follow brand pages.
Following a brand may enable Footfall to:
display relevant events;
provide brand-related features;
send permitted notifications; and
manage your communication preferences.
Following a brand does not guarantee that you will receive every announcement or event notification.
Brand pages may be subject to additional Brand Page Terms.
12. Event Sharing and Messaging
Footfall may allow users to share events or send event-related communications to other people.
You must only provide another person's email address or contact information where you are legally permitted to do so.
You must not use sharing or messaging features to:
send spam;
send unlawful marketing;
contact people who have asked not to be contacted;
upload purchased, scraped, or unlawfully obtained contact lists;
send deceptive or abusive messages;
conduct phishing;
distribute malware;
validate email addresses;
evade sending limits; or
circumvent suppression or objection controls.
Use of event-sharing features may also be subject to separate Event Sharing Terms.
13. Communications
Footfall may send communications reasonably necessary to provide services you use.
These may include:
account notices;
registration confirmations;
waiting-list notifications;
event reminders;
schedule or venue updates;
payment information;
tickets or QR codes;
security notices;
privacy notices;
support responses; and
service announcements.
These operational messages are separate from optional marketing communications.
Optional marketing and brand communications will be handled according to applicable law and your available preferences.
14. Privacy
The Footfall Privacy Policy explains how Purple Media LLC collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information through Footfall.
Depending on how Footfall is used, Purple Media LLC and an event organizer or brand may have different responsibilities for personal information.
For example, an organizer may determine what information attendees are required to provide and how attendee information is subsequently used.
You must not use Footfall to collect, upload, access, disclose, export, or otherwise process another person's personal information unless you are legally permitted to do so.
You must not use personal information obtained through Footfall for unrelated marketing, profiling, data brokerage, list building, or other incompatible purposes without an appropriate lawful basis.
Acceptance of these Platform Terms does not constitute consent to optional marketing, non-essential tracking, or other processing for which applicable law requires separate consent.
For more information, please review the Footfall Privacy Policy.
15. Sensitive Personal Information
If you use Footfall to collect information that may be considered sensitive under applicable law, you are responsible for ensuring that:
the information is genuinely necessary;
the collection is lawful;
an appropriate legal basis exists;
required notices or consents are provided;
access is appropriately restricted; and
the information is handled securely.
Sensitive information may include, depending on applicable law:
health information;
accessibility needs;
religious information;
government identification numbers;
financial information;
biometric information; or
other specially protected categories.
Footfall may restrict or prohibit the collection of certain categories of information through the platform.
16. Payments
Some events or services may involve payments.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers.
Unless Footfall is expressly identified as the seller or contracting party, Footfall may provide the technical payment functionality without itself being responsible for the underlying event, product, or service.
Applicable prices, taxes, fees, refund policies, and cancellation terms should be disclosed before payment.
Third-party payment providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.
17. Refunds and Cancellations
Where an event is operated by an independent organizer, the organizer is generally responsible for its cancellation and refund policies.
Footfall does not guarantee that a refund will be available unless Footfall is itself responsible for the relevant sale or expressly provides otherwise.
Event-specific refund and cancellation rules may be presented during registration or purchase.
18. Promotions, Giveaways, and Competitions
Events or brands may use Footfall in connection with promotions, competitions, giveaways, prize draws, or similar activities.
Additional rules may apply, including:
eligibility criteria;
geographic restrictions;
age requirements;
entry deadlines;
prize conditions;
selection procedures; and
tax or reporting requirements.
Where Footfall is not expressly identified as the promoter, the relevant organizer or brand is responsible for the promotion and its compliance with applicable law.
19. Third-Party Services
Footfall may integrate with or link to third-party services, including:
payment processors;
maps;
social networks;
email services;
messaging providers;
authentication providers;
calendar services;
video services; and
other external platforms.
These third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Purple Media LLC is not responsible for the independent operation, availability, security, content, or practices of third-party services except where required by law.
20. Intellectual Property
Footfall, its software, design, branding, interfaces, databases, technology, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Purple Media LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted, you may not:
copy;
reproduce;
modify;
distribute;
publicly display;
commercially exploit;
sell;
sublicense;
reverse engineer; or
create derivative works from
Footfall or its proprietary technology.
These terms do not transfer ownership of Footfall intellectual property to you.
21. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, comments, or other feedback relating to Footfall, you permit Purple Media LLC to use that feedback without restriction or obligation to compensate you.
This does not transfer ownership of personal information or unrelated proprietary content you provide.
22. Service Availability
We aim to keep Footfall available and operating reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Footfall may be unavailable or degraded because of:
maintenance;
updates;
security incidents;
technical failures;
internet or infrastructure problems;
third-party provider failures;
legal requirements; or
circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We may perform maintenance or updates where reasonably necessary to operate or secure the service.
23. Service Changes
We may modify, improve, replace, add, restrict, or discontinue features of Footfall.
We may make changes where reasonably necessary for reasons including:
security;
legal compliance;
product improvement;
technical requirements;
abuse prevention;
provider changes; or
business operations.
Where required by law or applicable agreement, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
24. Beta or Experimental Features
Footfall may make experimental, preview, beta, or early-access features available.
Such features may:
change without notice;
contain errors;
be unavailable at times; or
be discontinued.
Additional terms or limitations may be presented for those features.
25. Security
You must not attempt to compromise the security of Footfall or another user's account.
We may use measures such as:
authentication controls;
rate limits;
fraud detection;
spam detection;
logging;
account restrictions;
access controls; and
automated abuse-prevention systems.
You should contact us promptly at admin@footfall.events if you believe you have identified a security issue.
26. Monitoring and Enforcement
Footfall may use automated or manual measures to:
protect the platform;
investigate suspected abuse;
enforce these terms;
respond to complaints;
protect users;
prevent fraud or spam; and
comply with law.
Where reasonably necessary, Footfall may:
block an action;
remove content;
restrict a feature;
impose sending or usage limits;
place an account under review;
suspend an account; or
terminate access.
27. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to Footfall where we reasonably believe that:
you have materially violated these terms;
your account is being used unlawfully or abusively;
your activity creates a security, fraud, spam, privacy, or safety risk;
your use may materially harm Footfall, another user, or a third party;
continued service would expose Purple Media LLC to legal risk; or
restriction is required by law.
Where reasonable and appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct a breach.
Serious abuse, fraud, security threats, or unlawful activity may justify immediate restriction or termination.
28. Account Closure
You may stop using Footfall at any time.
Where available, you may close your account through the service or request closure by contacting us.
Account closure does not necessarily require immediate deletion of all related information.
Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary for:
legal obligations;
transaction records;
fraud prevention;
dispute resolution;
security;
suppression records; or
other purposes described in the Footfall Privacy Policy.
29. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Footfall is provided on an "as available" basis.
Purple Media LLC does not guarantee that:
Footfall will always be available;
every feature will operate without error;
every event listing will be accurate;
an event will proceed;
a registration will be accepted;
an organizer will perform its obligations;
attendance will produce a particular result; or
third-party services will remain available.
Nothing in these terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
30. Events and Third-Party Conduct
Unless Footfall is expressly identified as the organizer, Purple Media LLC does not control the physical operation of events listed on Footfall.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Purple Media LLC is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of:
event organizers;
venues;
brands;
attendees;
speakers;
performers;
exhibitors;
sponsors;
contractors; or
other third parties.
This includes matters such as event cancellation, admission, venue conditions, conduct, accessibility, safety, refunds, or event quality, except where Purple Media LLC itself is legally responsible.
31. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Purple Media LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses arising from or relating to Footfall.
This may include loss of:
profits;
business opportunity;
goodwill;
data;
anticipated savings; or
reputation.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for:
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited; or
any other matter for which exclusion would be unlawful.
Where applicable consumer law grants you mandatory rights, those rights remain unaffected.
32. Your Responsibility for Claims
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, penalties, damages, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful or unauthorized use of Footfall.
This may include claims resulting from:
unlawful content;
infringement of third-party rights;
misuse of personal information;
unlawful messaging or spam;
fraudulent events;
deceptive promotions;
unauthorized access; or
other material violations of these terms.
Where permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Purple Media LLC harmless from third-party claims arising directly from such misuse.
This provision does not limit rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
33. Compliance With Law
You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using Footfall.
Depending on how you use the service, this may include laws concerning:
privacy and data protection;
electronic communications;
anti-spam;
consumer protection;
advertising;
payments;
taxes;
promotions and sweepstakes;
intellectual property;
accessibility;
employment;
event safety; and
other applicable requirements.
Footfall's availability in a jurisdiction does not mean that every possible use of Footfall is lawful in that jurisdiction.
34. Additional Terms
Certain Footfall features may be governed by additional terms, including:
Brand Page Terms;
Event Terms;
Event Sharing Terms;
payment or purchase terms;
promotion rules;
organizer-specific conditions; or
other feature-specific terms.
These additional terms supplement the Platform Terms.
If an additional term conflicts with these Platform Terms in relation to a specific feature or event, the more specific provision will apply to the extent of that conflict, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
35. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Platform Terms from time to time to reflect:
changes to Footfall;
new features;
legal or regulatory developments;
security requirements;
changes in our business operations; or
improvements to these terms.
The current version will be published through Footfall with its effective date.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
Your continued use of Footfall after an updated version takes effect may constitute acceptance of the updated terms where permitted by law.
36. No Waiver
If Purple Media LLC does not immediately enforce a provision of these terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.
37. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
Any invalid provision should be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where permitted.
38. Assignment
You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these terms without Purple Media LLC's prior written consent, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Purple Media LLC may transfer or assign its rights or obligations in connection with a merger, restructuring, acquisition, sale of business or assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
39. Governing Law
Except where mandatory consumer or other applicable law provides otherwise, these terms and your use of Footfall are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in this section deprives you of mandatory protections that apply under the law of your place of residence where those protections cannot legally be waived.
40. Disputes
We encourage you to contact us first if you have a concern relating to Footfall so that we have an opportunity to address it.
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, disputes arising from these terms or use of Footfall should be carried out through mediation.
Consumers may have additional rights to bring claims in their home jurisdiction where applicable law provides those rights.
